TIAGo este o platform\u0103 mobil\u0103 cu capacit\u0103\u021bi de percep\u021bie, manipulare \u0219i interac\u021biune multimodala cu utilizatorul. TIAGo este aproape un robot umanoid av\u00e2nd o \u00een\u0103l\u021bime de 146 cm \u0219i o greutate de 75 kg. Dimensiunile mici ale bazei mobile (54cm diametru) \u00eel fac potrivit pentru deplasarea \u00een incinte. Robotul dispune de un cap dotat cu senzori, un trunchi care se \u00eenal\u021b\u0103 \u0219i un bra\u021b care poate acoperi un spa\u021biu de lucru semnificativ \u0219i care este dotat cu 5 degete. Bra\u021bul este versatil \u0219i contribuie la abilit\u0103\u021bile de manipulare \u0219i de interac\u021biune. Sarcina util\u0103 a bra\u021bului la extensie complet\u0103 este de 2 kg, iar bra\u021bul ajunge, f\u0103r\u0103 efector final (m\u00e2n\u0103) la 87cm. Robotul vine echipat \u0219i cu extensia unei baze mobile furnizat\u0103 de Dataspeed Inc. care \u00eei confer\u0103 robotului abilitatea de a se deplasa \u00eenainte, \u00eenapoi \u0219i \u00een lateral, men\u021bin\u00e2nd \u00een acela\u0219i timp controlul independent al rota\u021biei. Baxter dispune de dou\u0103 bra\u021be manipulatoare care se extind p\u00e2n\u0103 la o lungime de 1.2 m, suport\u00e2nd o greutate maxim\u0103 de 2.2 kg. Pepper poate fi un companion al oamenilor, este special conceput pentru a putea coexista cu oamenii \u00eentr-o camer\u0103 sau cas\u0103, sau incint\u0103.
