- Deep understanding of the needs and capabilities of the trader from a part and the software and hardware requirements for the service from other part (customized robot to match the needs of a company) which it intends to develop.
- Transfer of knowledge toward the operator to increase its impact on the market.
- Developing the skills of innovation and entrepreneurship of researchers through direct contact with the business in order to increase the number of patents and innovations from academia, with regard to possible future academic spinoff sites.
- Preparing the Master and PhD students for the integration into the labor market through internships carried by the trader.
Associated Technical Objectives
- Developing a database of simple/primitive behaviors, such as: welcoming a client, pinpoints arm to a certain area, grabs and present a product etc.
- Developing a planner who receives behaviors and goals and breaks down complex tasks into simple behaviors available within a database.
- Creating a working scenario manager of the robot with an intuitive graphical interface that allows to define one or more scenarios where the robot assist a client or promote a product.
- Adapting components text-to-speech and speech recognition of Tiago in Romanian language.
